Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee bags 6 months jail term for drug offence



Son of Chinese actor, Jackie Chan, Jaycee Chan has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for a drug offence in China.
32 year old, Jaycee Chan pleaded guilty to “sheltering others to use drugs”in Beijing’s Dongcheng District Court.
Police raided his home in August and found more than 100g of marijuana. He faced a maximum sentence of three years but only received 6 months.
Jaycee’s arrest came amid a drug use crackdown in China which saw several celebrities arrested.
Sentencing of Jaycee Chan, son of one of China’s most famous actors denoted a key message from the Chinese government that no-one is immuned from China’s crackdown on illegal drug.
