'Charie Hebdo' a french satirical magazine was thrown into a mourning state as two gunmen killed not fewer than 12 cartoonists including Mr Charb ( the editor) today 7th January for insulting Prophet Mohammed.
Stéphane Charbonnier (the Charlie Hebdo publishing director and cartoonist) who usually use the pen name 'Charb' was on an Al Qaeda "wanted" list and lived under police protection since 2013.
