One of the female hostels 'Moremi Hall' at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun state, was gutted by fire this morning 18th December.
According to eyewitness, the cause of the fire outbreak was an electric spark from a hotplate in one of the rooms in the hostel.
Students were seen running helter shelter while fire fights were trying to put off the fire.
