And INEC releases names of Presidential Candidates/Running Mates

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday, released the list of the presidential candidates and their running mates qualified to run in the 2015 elections. Below are:

• Presidential Candidate: Pres. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),

         Running Mate:             The Incumbent Vice-President, Namadi Sambo (PDP)

• Presidential Candidate:   General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

         Running Mate:            Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (APC)

• Presidential Candidate:  Prof. Comfort Oluremi Sonaiya of Kowa Party

          Running Mate        :      Saidu Bobboi (Kowa Party)

• Presidential Candidate: Ambrose Albert of Hope Democratic Party

         Running Mate             : Haruna Shaba (Hope Democratic Party)

• Presidential Candidate: Ganiyu Galadima of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria,

          Running Mate             :Balarabe Ahmed (ACPN),

• Presidential Candidate: Rafiu Salau of Alliance for Democracy,

          Running Mate             :Prof. Clinton Cliff Akuchie (AD),

• Presidential Candidate: Godson Okoye of United Democratic Party,

          Running Mate             :Haruna Adamu (United Democratic Party),

• Presidential Candidate: Dr. Nani Ibrahim Ahmad of African Democratic Congress)

          Running Mate             : Obianuju Murphy-Uzohue (African Democratic Congress)
