Enraged PDP Rivers state members yesterday staged a bizarre protest against its leadership over their choice of former Education Minister, Nyesom Wike as the party's Gubernatorial candidate for River state in the 2015 elections.
According Sahara reporters, the infuriated protesters stormed the party national secretariat around 6a.m with a coffin which sent PDP chairman and other party members running for their lives. They also barricaded the entrance of the secretariat, stopping everyone who worked at the building from gaining entrance. The group was later dispersed by mobile police with five protesters arrested.
So this 2015 election is gonna be bloody? Must we the youths be use as election thugs by these greed politicians? It's time to say no to election violence.
