Sudanese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Tagelsir Ali dies in Abuja Hospital


66 year old, Sudanese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Tagelsir Ali is dead. Mr Mohammed Abdulrahman, the Media Advisor to the Sudanese embassy in Nigeria confirmed his death. He announced that Dr Ali died in the early hours of today, 24th October 2014, at The National Hospital, Abuja where he was being treated for malaria.
According to Mr. Abdulrahman:
“He had malaria. He passed on around 1a.m this morning, as a result of complications that arise from the malaria. There is a Presidential jet coming by 5 p.m. to take the remains to Sudan for burial. He loved working in Nigeria and had zeal to develop the bilateral relationship between Sudan and Nigeria and was able to stretch himself very well.”
