Photos: TALES OF AN EX-CORP MEMBER

Fully Certified
Joy Ihejiofor (Blog Author)
On 5th November 2013, i set off on a one-year compulsory National service to my father's land, Nigeria ( the Giant of Africa).
I  was posted to Abuja and then, The ECOWAS Commission Asokoro as my place of primary assignment (PPA) in 2013 batch C. Relentlessly, I served under the rain and in the sun with dedication to selflessness.
It's been God's grace and divine favour that kept me going, to see the end of my successful service year.

I want to use this medium to specially thank my mum, Chief Fidelia Ihejiofor for seeing me through school despite the challenges we encountered after my dad passed on.
Thanks to NYSC for giving me the platform to learn more on my profession and integrate with other corp members from diverse ethnicity.
And finally, my most profound gratitude goes to staff of The ECOWAS COMMISSION Asokoro, especially Directorate of Communication, for their inexorable effort towards teaching and guiding me toward being a better Journalist/ Communication Personnel. God bless you all.

It is a thing of joy that I came, I saw, and finally I conquered. See more Passing out Parade pics after the cut...
