After six weeks of forceful closure, the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared First Consultant Hospital in Obalende Lagos, where Patrick Sawyer died of Ebola virus fit to re-open.
This was stated in a letter sent to the Lagos Government Ministry of Health, the Federal
Government acknowledged that after having undergone three rounds of state-certified decontamination
processes according
to world standard, the hospital is free to continue its business of
administering health care to patients.
