Another Ebola Victim Dies in Port Harcourt

The Nigeria Ministry of Nigeria has the announced the death of another Ebola victim in Port Harcourt. Bringing the number of death of recorded there to two (2). The dead victim is reported to be an elderly woman who contracted the deadly virus while on admission in the same hospital where the late Dr Iyke Enemuo. The Minister's spokeman, Mr. Dan Nwomeh announced it on twitter today. See his tweet...

The deceased is the first confirmed Ebola Virus case that was also one of the three persons quarantined in Oduoha, Emohua L.G.A of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The deceased is also recorded as the 7th Ebola fatality to be recorded in the country, and the first death in the new Port Harcourt Isolation Centre for Ebola. The two people- a doctor and a pharmacist of Samsteel Clinic founded by the late Dr. Enemuo who were quarantine alongside the deceased have been a clean health bill following their Negative result of Ebola Virus.
