So Sad! Dora Akunyili finally lowered to Mother Earth

Unfortunately, She came, she saw, she conquered but she left us so soon.Prof. Dora Akunyili, renowned NAFDAC reformer, former Minister of Information and Communication and Professor of Pharmacy who passed on 7th June 2014 at  age 59 due to Uterine Cancer, was buried on Thursday 28th August 2014 in Agulu in Anaocha local government area of Anambra.
 The mass was officiated by Cardinal Francis Arinze, assisted by Arch-Bishop of Abuja Diocese Cardinal John Onaiyekan and other Bishops.
Dignitaries from all walks of life including Top Government Officials  at both Federal, State, LGA were in Agulu in Anaocha local government area of her state where she was laid to rest. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace Amen. View more pics after the cut...
