Senate okays Pres. Jonathan's $1billion loan to fight insurgency

The red  chamber of the Nigerian Senate has approved the $1billion loan (equivalent to #165bn), requested by President Goodluck Jonathan in July to help in the fight against terrorism ( Boko Haram) and to curb insecurity in the country. 
The approved loan will be used for the purchase of additional military equipment and to effectively train military and security operatives.

It could be recalled that #968.127bn was approved by the Federal Government.for the 2014 Defence budget.

I pray this positive move will put an end to insurgency in Nigeria.
