At long last! After 55yrs of designing the National Flag, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan bestowed on Pa Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi a national award of 'Order of the Federal Republic, OFR'
President Jonathan also placed him on a lifetime salary which will be in line with what Senior Special Advisers are paid. Coming too late, Pa. Taiwo designed the National when he was just 23, now he is 78.
So other government before GEJ's government couldn't give him a National Award, not to talk of placing him on a life time salary?Shame on them all.
